School Licence Terms

These terms apply to annual school and organisation licences for PrecisionTeaching.uk supplied by Corban Psychology Ltd (“we”, “us”). By submitting a licence request, the purchasing organisation (“you”) agrees to these terms.
1. Licence
A standard licence permits staff employed by, or working on behalf of, the named purchasing school or organisation to use PrecisionTeaching.uk for its own educational purposes. The licence is organisation-wide unless otherwise agreed in writing. It may not be shared with another school, organisation or third party.
2. Term and price
The standard licence lasts for 12 months from the activation date shown when the licence is created. The current standard price is £250 plus VAT per year. Renewal is not automatic unless expressly agreed. Any future renewal price will be stated before renewal.
3. Licence keys
You must take reasonable steps to keep the licence key within the licensed organisation. We may disable or replace a key where we reasonably believe it has been shared outside the licensed organisation, used fraudulently, or where an invoice remains materially overdue after reasonable attempts to resolve payment.
4. Pupil information and local storage
The current application stores pupil records and probe information locally in the web browser used to run the application. That information is not intentionally transmitted to or stored in the PrecisionTeaching.uk licensing database. The licensed organisation is responsible for deciding what pupil information staff enter, ensuring that use is lawful, controlling access to the relevant devices and browser profiles, and managing retention, deletion and backups where required.
5. Account and purchasing information
We process school, contact, billing, purchase-order and licensing information in order to administer orders, invoices, licences and support. Further information is in our Privacy Notice.
6. Educational use
PrecisionTeaching.uk is a tool to support the delivery and recording of Precision Teaching. It does not replace professional judgement, appropriate teaching, assessment or safeguarding procedures. Schools remain responsible for decisions about pupils and educational provision.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available and useful, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. We may make reasonable changes to improve security, compatibility, functionality or educational usefulness. Planned changes that materially affect normal use will be communicated where reasonably practicable.
8. Support
Reasonable support relating to access, licensing and use of the service is included during an active licence. Support does not include management of a school's devices, networks, browsers, backups or third-party systems.
9. Intellectual property
PrecisionTeaching.uk, its software, design and original materials remain the property of Corban Psychology Ltd or the relevant rights holder. The licence grants permission to use the service; it does not transfer ownership or permit copying, resale, redistribution, reverse engineering or creation of a competing service from the software except where applicable law expressly permits this.
10. Ending access
Access ends when the licence expires unless renewed. We may suspend or terminate access for serious misuse, unlawful use, unauthorised sharing or material non-payment. Where reasonably practicable, we will first give the organisation an opportunity to resolve the issue.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, the service is supplied as an educational support tool and we are not responsible for educational decisions made by the licensed organisation or for loss of locally stored data caused by device, browser, user or third-party failures. These terms do not affect any statutory rights that apply.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory legal rights that apply.
